akasha302030 wrote: I definitely recommend this series! The story is interesting and while it can be a bit complex (due to various intrigues, not random puff that throws you all around) I found it easy to follow. The artwork was good too, very nicely detailed! So, if you like nicely illustrated books with actual plots, you’d like these books.

Leeanne wrote: this story is written to move so quickly I found it confusing at times, and had to go back and clear up who was who. Other than the main characters some of the characters look a little similar, and there are times where you aren't sure who the character is. The overall artwork is okay. I liked the 'action' artwork, and there is a general dark atmosphere over the whole thing. I enjoyed first volume, and will try reading the second to see if it slows down and develops the characters better.
